I am André Wiersig, extreme swimmer, environmental ambassador and initiator of theBlueHeart. I was the first German to complete the Ocean's Seven, the first person to swim from Heligoland into the open ocean, and I covered almost 50km in the Seychelles as part of the "Swim for the Ocean" to protect the oceans, not for self-promotion, but to raise awareness for the oceans and our planet.

With theBlueHeart, I want to connect people who take responsibility both locally and globally. My motivation is real change through collective action. I see myself as a catalyst and part of a community that protects what it loves.
